"There are many stories written and lived everyday. There is much to write and much to read ... we are essentially living in a world of chaos."
I have worked in a wide range of roles and professions from accounting and publishing to technology services, knowledge management and marketing. Along the way I was tutored and nurtured by both people and companies ...
I started my professional career in publishing. I moved from there to IBM where I ran process and documentation teams, marketed community publishing solutions and established an Asia Pacific "knowledge factory" for the Learning Services division. I later led the innovation program for IBM's application management group, developing communities of practice in support of major clients such as Telstra and VicRoads.
Later, at Fujitsu I created comprehensive marketing and branding strategies, launched new services and built and executed communications campaigns. I was responsible for the rebranding efforts - bringing the consulting division under the Fujitsu umbrella, and created the change and communications program that underpinned the merger of the Fujitsu Australia brands.
Most recently I was head of the Interactive division of a global marketing and promotions agency, responsible for the strategic planning and execution of global programs for clients such as McDonald's, Kellogg's and General Motors. In this role I led the strategy and implementation teams responsible for HappyMeal.com (globally) and produced North America's largest ever promotion - Pirates of the Caribbean: 28 Cars in 28 Days.
I currently work for SAP in Global Business Development. I am responsible for the planning and execution of global marketing programs for SAP's Learning on Demand offering.
Full details of my professional experience can be found here.
